Description: While researching flowers of London for a private commission, I came across a book written and illustrated by Walter Crane titled Flora's Feast (c. 1889) which features a precession of fairies that bring on the seasonal flowers of the year. I use these same flowers to cycle an entire year as an elevator in a private home travels between floors.
